The original title was "The Big Short", with the intent of writing on the contradiction I see in the world currency markets where there are frequent prolonged periods of US Dollar strength, and making sense of this when we all know that the US debt continues to expand with no obvious signs that the US is able to reduce it.
However, I decided to include other thoughts on trading and finance-related matters since every 8 years or so, the financial markets will inevitably seize up with some new issue.
The US dollar- an enigma because of its outsized impact on global trade because various commodities, including oil and other assets are all denominated in USD.
